Florida's Medicaid Electronic Health Record Incentive Program was established by Section 4201 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to provide incentive payments to eligible professionals and eligible hospitals for the adoption and meaningful use of certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) technology, with the goal of ensuring that each person in the United States has an electronic health record by 2014.
